Ride up the most biked peeks in Bogotá and visit a hidden lake
Service Description
Starting in the heart of the historic center, you'll journey toward the eastern hills of Bogotá, passing through a refreshing forest oasis and enjoying panoramic views of the Sabana de Bogotá along the way. Then you will start biking up hill to Patios, where at the end you will be able to try delicious vegan chocolate bread and then visit a hidden lake behind the mountains of Bogotá. The real adventure begins with a challenging 9.6% grade climb, ascending over 3,250 meters above the city. Once at the summit, we’ll savor warm, sweet agua de panela and traditional Colombian snacks (not included), all while taking in the breathtaking views. Note: • We provide you with a bicycle, helmet, and a Spanish- or English-speaking guide. • Bogotá is a large city with sometimes chaotic traffic. If you’re staying far from La Candelaria, we recommend arranging transportation in advance. • If you don’t feel comfortable biking during the tour, please let us know. We can help you return to our shop or get a taxi (at your own expense). • Tips for guides and mechanics are not included. They work hard, so please be generous if you’re happy with the experience.
