Try a streetcorner ‘tinto,’ prepared in a colorful old-fashioned greca, tour a coffee roaster and visit some of the city’s most iconic and famed cafés, where you’ll sip ‘cafés de origen’ from some of Colombia’s best fincas.
During our tour, you’ll learn why Colombia, home to some of the world’s best Arabica beans, mostly serves cheap coffee to its own citizens. And the key role coffee has played in Colombia’s violent history and ongoing renaissance.
Coffee Fanatic’s Bike Tour: Visit some of Bogotá’s most iconic and historic coffee houses, where you’ll sample ‘cafés de origin‘ from various regions of the country, brewed with different methods; See different roasting techniques, and maybe even roast your own beans. Learn how Colombian coffee is grown and prepared, as well as its place in Colombian culture. One of the coffee houses you’ll visit has its own coffee lab, where you’ll see how top Colombian coffee producers select the best beans to create unique tastes. During the tour, you’ll also learn about coffee’s role in Colombia’s violent history and current renaissance.
The tour can also include fruit tasting in a traditional market, as well as street art.

Coffee Connoisseur’s Bike Tour: Like the Fanatics’ Tour, you’ll visit some of Bogotá’s most iconic and historic coffeehouses, sample exclusive cafés de origen brewed using various methods, and learn about coffee’s role in Colombia’s economy and culture. In addition, the Connoisseur’s Tour also includes a visit to one of Colombia’s most respected coffee standards laboratories and barista schools (availability permitting).
