Plaza San Victorino
If the Plaza del Chorro represents Bogotá’s history and bohemia and Plaza Bolívar its center of government, then perhaps Plaza San Victorino is its noisy and colorful heart and soul. The plaza is a ‘centro popular,’ where bogotanos go to buy toys, clothing and kitchenware. You’ll see llamas, cell-phone renters, street vendors – often watching out for cops – and perhaps even a prostitute.

Some have compared San Victorino Plaza to New York's Times Square. But llamas? San Victorino is Bogotá's popular shoppoing plaza.
